Summer Sunrise

This morning I was happily snoozing away when my text messaging ringer went off about 14 times. I angrily looked at my phone to see about 10 texts from Alecc telling me to get up, go outside, and take some pictures of the clouds/sunrise. We haven't had any rain in my West Texas town since last September and finally we got a little bit of rain late last night/early this morning. I'm so glad that I got Alecc's texts in time to see this:

Summer Adventures

I've always been obsessed with animals...I watch "Animal Planet" whenever possible, I love going to pet stores, and most recently Alecc has been taking me to different zoos that are close to our little town.

I love looking at the brightly colored birds, the goofy penguins, and watching Alecc try and provoke the 'bigger' animals. Hopefully we can go again once the weather cools down.

Fashion Inspiration

I've always had a hard time with discovering my "style" but lately I've discovered that I do have a certain style, I'm eccentric, preppy, boho-chic, fun, romantic, with a touch of mens-wear. I've fallen in love with Pinterest and have 'pinned' many outfit ideas that I'm going to use as style  inspiration.

From all these pictures I think we can all assume my obsession with scarfs has not been quelled.

Summertime Pictures

This Summer has been full of time at the river watching Alecc practice his new love for fly fishing. I can't and don't fish but his love of it makes it fun for me, so I just take pictures and lay out in the beautiful Texas sunshine.
