Things have been crazy around here...

Sometimes things happen that we can't control and I'm just trying to get a grasp on that and not breakdown entirely.

But since I can't control certain things I've decided to focus on the things I can control such as:

My Fitness-
Spin: Tues, Thurs, and Sat
Muscle Pump: Wed and Fri (occasionally Mon when I'm not going on a 30 min walk with the puppy)

School-
My last semester started on Monday and I'm going to kick it's butt!

Best Friends

My best friend, Andie, is getting married in less than a month (I can't believe it). So I will be going down to the coast for her Bachelorette Weekend.

Andie is one of a kind; we met our freshmen year of college, lived together that summer and have been best friends ever since. I love her fiance and wish them the best of luck in their life together.

Lazy Days

I have been a complete slob the last few days.
IF I showered I didn't do anything except put my pj's back on.

oops. Oh well!

I've become obsessed with Mad Men and in less than a week I've watched all of season 1 and half of season 2.
I don't know if I like the show or if  I just like the clothes.

Vacation Time

Since I take summer classes starting as soon as classes end in May I'm just now starting my summer vacation! I'll be spending most of it drinking tons of iced (and hot) coffee, reading, watching my new favorite obession Mad Men and hanging out with my wonderful boyfriend.

Fall, I want the cooler weather and the football but I don't want the tests and papers that come with classes starting in a few weeks.

Summer Sunrise

This morning I was happily snoozing away when my text messaging ringer went off about 14 times. I angrily looked at my phone to see about 10 texts from Alecc telling me to get up, go outside, and take some pictures of the clouds/sunrise. We haven't had any rain in my West Texas town since last September and finally we got a little bit of rain late last night/early this morning. I'm so glad that I got Alecc's texts in time to see this:
